As a Malaysian, I approve. Had the chicken rice today at rundle mall, portion size surprised me. Gives at least double the chicken portion compared to what would normally get in Malaysia. Tried the laksa and mee goreng at the Marion outlet before too which were good. Laksa is more similar to KL/Johor style than Penang but it has its own unique taste that works. Good find if you’re looking Malaysian food in Adelaide. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $1–20

1/5 stars — Disappointing experience with Nasi Goreng Warong. I ordered the Nasi Goreng Warong today (14/08/2026) around 4pm, and the dish arrived swimming in oil. I brought it to the counter to show the staff, and the person just smiled and told me "the dish is like that.". I asked for an extra takeaway container so I could drain off the excess oil and still salvage the rice rather than waste the food. Even after transferring out a significant amount of oil, the rice was still soaked in it. When I showed this to the same staff member, he simply said there was nothing he could do. In the end, I left the food at the counter and walked out. Paying $18 for a dish that's essentially oil rather than rice is not an experience I'd wish on anyone. Very disappointed, and the lack of any real response from staff made it worse. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Takeaway Price per person: $20–40
