Tuesday night. Sat at the bar. Overwhelmed server running the bar and tables, but friendly and doing his best. Food was slow to come and was cold when they served it. Wings were processed with heavy batter. Hamburger patty also processed yet bland. Fries were cold. Ketchup served in packets. Definitely a place you settle for if you're traveling and don't want to leave the hotel. Definitely motivated me to drive out and find a real restaurant for night 2 of my stay. Parking: Parking lot is the hotel parking. The dilapidated parking attendant booth has a gate arm that just stays open. They charge guests to park their car but i don't think they monitor it. Kid-friendliness: Kids options. Family restaurant in a hotel. Wheelchair accessibility: It's an IHG hotel so there is compliance with ADA requirements. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot

I love coming to the Bay and pretending I don't know where to find good food. I can be such a tourist! West Bay Cafe was my most recent find. They're located at the renovated Crowne Plaza Hotel near SFO. They serve American food, they're open late, and have a fully stocked bar. I found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is segmented with an area for the bar (situated right in front of 2 huge TVs), there's an area sectioned off for large group gatherings (which I believe they use for Corporate events, parties, or overflow), and then general seating surrounding the main entrance. It's spacious and modern and I believe it's one of the better hotel restaurants near SFO.
