For as small as Westport is at one point and time they had three breweries running here all at once! Steve and I went here a while ago and reached the decision that it probably wasn't our favorite brewery in town. We both had an IPA here which was just fair as far as our tastes go. Since then though it seems like this brewery has gone through a lot of changes. For one when we were here dogs were not allowed in this brewery so we had to take turns going into the brewery and getting a beer while the other waited in the car with the dog. Breweries and dogs go together hand in hand though and maybe they realized this because after examining other reviews since we were here it appears that they became much more dog friendly than what they once were and they were then allowed to be with you at the establishment. Now if memory serves this brewery was open all year round but it seems like it is open on a seasonal basis now... I'm not too sure though. Again, examining their Facebook page it looks like their operations are temporarily closed for improvements. Or is it a permanent closure? Because according to Yelpers they now have this entry listed as closed. There isn't much communication on their Facebook page about their activity since the beginning of the year and patrons or possible patrons say that the business website page takes them to a spam site so it leaves it a bit unclear as to what their fate is. Perhaps the only way to clear it up is to drive by their location next time I'm in Westport and check it out. Despite feeling "Meh, to ok" about the beer that I had here the brewery seems or seemed to have gone through a lot of changes here from policies to approach to their customers. That may also mean that they have a new take on their recipes which may be something more enjoyable for me and Steve. So if they still operate which we will find out on our next trip they are probably worth another chance. Especially since our dogs are now welcome there... providing they still are functioning of course.

We never actually got to try any of their beer.. My husband and I were excited to stop here for a beer.. Their website says they open at Noon Thursday-Monday... We came here on a Thursday afternoon at 2:30 and they were closed. Lame.

We tried coming here twice during their business hours and they were closed. Once was on a Friday and then a Saturday. The website says they're open Thursday - Monday.
