A gem of a restaurant in Forks. The Longhouse Cafe specializes on indigenous cuisine of the PacificNorthwest and American favorites with an indigenous twist. I had the Rez burger which consisted of a well seasoned beef patty made from scratch and topped with pico de gallo, their special sauce, and fry bread buns. I was told it would be the best burger I ever had and it was terrific! I’m also embarrassed to say that I opened their door the wrong direction and knocked part of the door frame off. Despite my mistake they were incredibly gracious and kind! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Never had fry bread before coming here, and boy am I glad we tried it. Absolutely delicious! We had the three taco sampler (pulled pork was my fave) and the bison burger, which is tied for the best-tasting burger I’ve ever had. Fry bread accompanies every item on the menu and for good reason. The only knock I have is that the portion sizes could be bigger for the price point - I was still hungry after finishing the meal and paid about $50. But it sure is quality! A couple weeks later we went to the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, DC because we were craving fry bread, and it tasted totally different - didn’t hold a candle to Longhouse Cafe’s version. This is a fantastic find and pretty unique cuisine. Just be prepared to spend a little more money for a small-ish portion size. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5

We wanted to drive thru Forks and were looking for somewhere to eat. This place caught our eye. It looked like a local spot that you just didn't want to miss, we were not disappointed. At first , we were sad because they were out of salmon and halibut. But we had clam chowder and it was a hit, the smoke salmon dip was great, and the highlight believe it or not was the chili cheese fries. The best I've ever had. The fry bread , oh my gosh, right up my husband's ally. Everything was delicious and we are so happy we spotted this place. Definitely would come back.
