Great service, fun environment. The food is good. I like to get their burgers and sandwiches. This place is usually not too crowded and has a chill atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite casual restaurants in West Seattle.

I've ordered out from Whiskey West ~4 times and eaten in twice. While the food is good if you like Americana food, every time but one a part of our order was forgotten, whether that be a part of the meal, a sauce, pickles left on when we specifically asked for them off, etc. For what it's worth if you don't mind waiting for attention and likely correcting whatever was missed from your order, the ambience is pretty relaxed and nice and the bartender is amenable to changing the channel if you want to catch a specific game (in my limited experience). That being said, the times I have eaten in were very low traffic hours (I'd estimate ~3 other parties there) and I had to wait around 5-10 minutes before someone came over (once) or I gave up and went to the bar to order (the other time). Half of the times I've ordered via phone it also sounded like I was annoying the person that picked up. I almost felt bad for calling! It's a shame because I really wanted to like this place (which is why I kept trying!) but it just makes we wish for somewhere more like Shadowland or some other bar with efficient service.
