Popped into this old pub while visiting Bristol waiting for a coach home. Great welcome from the start Had steak and chips great price for a city pub and well cooked Seems like a local pub with people that makes strangers welcome Would recommend to any one who is in bristol visiting Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My wife and I live in Caerphilly, but we've been visiting my mum in the BRI for several months and we've had a drink in the White Hart on several occasions. We've always been impressed by the look of the food as its passed our table en route to customers who have ordered. Today we ordered a beef Sunday dinner, and I can honestly say it was one of the best pub dinners we've ever had. The cauliflower au gratin was definitely the best and the range of vegetables with the meal was impressive. Lovely meal, superb service which delivered it to the table hot, and we will definitely eat here again! Superb!
