I like supporting black owned businesses. If you are an attractive woman, prepare to be ignored by at least 1 of their bartenders who has a major chip on her shoulder. Women usually tip more than men; so I'm baffled when bartenders are rude and dismissive to female patrons. People who are not welcoming and friendly should not keep bar. It's okay to turn the "hood" down sometimes; particularly at work. Food: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I went to the Why Not Lounge in Hayward CA this past Saturday night and was disappointed at the end of the night. It’s sucks because we had a great time until we were approached by security. The food was great bar tender was great and chef was super pleasant and kind. The chef son as he told us. He was very rude, not professional at all. He need customer service training, an etiquette class and some home training for a grown man. It sucks that I had to write this poor review but he was that awful!! We will NEVER go back here again. Worst part is he threatened us in the parking lot. Just terrible behavior.
