I didn't get to book. Once I saw dogs were allowed inside, I decided to give it a miss. I don't know why dogs need to go to restaurants. Bummer though, as the menu looked really good. Graham.

Ordered the Tasmanian Salmon with rocket mash and veggies. The dish was below average and not much thought and effort went into the dish. The mash was really dry and unflavoured, steamed veggies were literally just that and not even seasoned and fish was ok (I can make better salmon at home). The service was mediocre. Good atmosphere but got quite loud in the restaurant as it was a busy time. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We have been to Wild Rivers Escape Restaurant several times now. Good food and value for money. The grilled prawn cocktail is delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the salad is always freshly made. The venue is pleasant with indoor and outdoor seating. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
