Wing Ho, never before have just two words inspired so much joy and wonder in a man. It is perhaps the finest eatery this side of the Murray River. So strap yourselves in culinary conquistadores as I take you on a journey through this hidden gem right in the heart of Philip Island. My friends and I entered the fine establishment of Wing Ho hungry and weary from the day’s trials and tribulations, our hopes were high for salvation, the golden cat on the shelf an auspicious sign of what was to come. Our band of merry men was greeted by the congenial proprietor who quickly seated us.The service was swift and delightful our scrumptious feast was delivered in a matter of moments. I had ordered the Chinese pork sausage and sweet and sour scallops with a side of white rice (included for the bargain price of $7!). Those scallops and sausage were a gastronomic delight! My friends and I departed Wing Ho with bellies filled with Chinese delicacies and renewed purpose and vigour. Overall I would rate the experience a 6/10. Visited Wing Ho Chinese Restaurant in Cowes for a winter treat and they don't disappoint. In a group of six we got to sample a good cross section of their mains and each choice was simply delicious. Friendly attentive service and a great family meal outing for anytime of the year. Best option for Chinese meal on the Island. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
