My mother, a dedicated healthcare worker at Princess Margaret, went to Wing Machine today to get a burger and fries. The wait time was excessively long. As she finally approached the cashier to pay, the Asian lady cashier spat into a cup in front of her while the machine was processing my mother’s card. This egregious act of poor hygiene is beyond unacceptable. It raises serious concerns about what might be happening in the kitchen where food is prepared. Such unsanitary behaviour not only reflects a lack of professionalism but also poses significant health risks. My mother was in a rush as her break was over so she threw it in the garbage and went to work hungry. Absolutely appalling and deeply concerning.
