We ordered the avocado toast, beef burger and coffees. Both dishes were delicious. The smashed pumpkin on the base of the avo toast really made it a memorable dish - I loved the combination of them both. And the avocado rose was stunning! My partner thought the burger was done well and really enjoyed the curly fries.
Will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes!
The menu is equally fun, with some really great options. My daughter ordered the tofu scramble, and this delicious dish was full of flavour, with yummy mushrooms, chilli and plenty of seasoning. The pink waffle was so pretty, with it's abundance of fairy floss, meringues and berries. Another flavoursome dish, with a fabulous, crispy waffle to soak up the sauce. It looks like it would be sweet, but it wasn't overly so.
Lastly, we had the blueberry pancakes which again, was another generous portion. A stack of fat and fluffy hotcakes overflowed with the juiciest blueberry sauce and honeycomb. The texture of the pancakes was sublime and I would happily devour these again.
Wishbone has a fabulous atmosphere and the friendliest staff who are happy to have a chat, and obviously are passionate about what they do. The coffee is excellent, as is the service; and I can't wait to pay this pretty cafe another visit soon.
