Wok Master is located at 2373 East Colorado Boulevard Pasadena California. It is a hidden gem nestled between boutique stores and restaurants. This is a unique corner Sierra Madre Boulevard going north and south and Colorado Boulevard going east and west. It is across from a very large retail complex on the other side of Sierra Madre Boulevard. Located in this group of businesses is also a popular restaurant & grill in a standalone location. When we walked into the location I was surprised at the stylish ambiance that gave it a cute cozy atmosphere. The ordering area is located towards the kitchen after passing through a number of tables and chairs. We were greeted by the person monitoring phone calls and taking orders. There are hard copy menus. I had a number of questions concerning the amount of heat as well as the quantity of food. I was given careful and precise answers. I was also given time to decide on what items that I wanted to order. I had: Orange Chicken Fried Shrimp appetizer Cream Cheese wontons Hot & Sour soup They also included a container of sticky rice and spices with some chopsticks. And of course fortune cookies. While we waited for our order to be complete we checked out the seating area as well as some of the other businesses nearby. The dining area was not busy while we were there. However the phone kept ringing and the counter was busy taking orders. As the kitchen prepared our orders the aroma was intoxicating. Definitely fresh items being prepared. After about a 10 to 15 minute wait we were ready to leave and were on our way. Once home, the food on the counter was still hot and generating some great appetizing aromas. I started with the appetizers the fried shrimp with the crispy panko and coconut oil coating. I noticed they put it together using shrimp with the tail still on. Larger shrimp they fillet to get a more even coating. The crispy wonton filled with cream cheese was just as good. Love the crispy tips of the wonton filled with cream cheese. Wasn't sure what to expect but this was a standout, something I hadn't had in quite a while. The hot sour soup was filled with fresh vegetables, chicken and tofu. It was excellent. The spices that they gave me to add to give it a little bit more kick were perfect. The orange chicken was excellent. The container was packed with chicken coated and cooked to perfection. It was still hot and was the perfect thing to accompany the rice I was given. There were a number of meals in this generously filled container. The overall experience at this restaurant was exceptional. I can't wait to go back and experience some more of the different flavors. I know that everything will be fresh and cooked with the with the love of a family's culture and recipes. Generous portions, friendly service, fresh flavorsI look forward to my return! The quality and quantity of the food is great. The food is so good. The customer service was great. I would love to visit again and try something new. I ordered mix chowmein today and it was great. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I just want to start off saying I've never left a review anywhere because it's corny to me, but this place is the best Chinese joint I've ever hit, food quality is immaculate, the foods delicious and the portions are quite generous, will def keep coming back to this place
