I have been to this cafe on several occasions and I have always left satisfied. On this day I decided to try a muffin style croissant. I have heard of it but hadn’t had one before. I chose chocolate and pistachio. It’s basically a croissant with chocolate and nuts baked in a muffin shape.
Although the service was good and the waiter courteous I was annoyed when I asked him about the croissant he suggested I go look at the table of baked goods. I expect a waiter to have at least a minimum knowledge of the food so that he can answer a simple question like “ what is this?”
Now that I know what the muffin croissant is and what it tastes like, I can’t say that I am a fan. I would rather have my calories in something more substantial.
I did like the idea that the kiddies hit chocolate was served in a cute little cup and saucer, it made my nephew feel really grown up
