Ordered this morning, Sausage baguette deal with latte, bacon baguette, separate latte and just to reach a 20% discount on just eat, added a mince pie. Order arrives in about 25 minutes, not terrible. Now start the issues: - They only sent one of the lattes. - They said their oven wasn't working* so couldn't cook any more bacon... So sent a second sausage baguette instead. - They said the mince pies were out of stock* so didn't send it at all. * They did not call but SENT A HANDWRITTEN NOTE EXPLAINING THIS. Now, I understand stock runs out and whatnot, but please, call the customer and ask what they want instead, do not assume. We'd potentially have either asked for anything else or cancelled the order had we been given the option. To their credit, they did send 2 hot pastry items and a cookie (have yet to partake of them but sending hot items when also sending a sizeable breakfast item is going to lead to cold pastry items, not ideal compensation) Also for full disclosure, I did get just eat to refund me for the missing latte and the bacon baguette as the extra one they sent did not get eaten. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 2 Service: 2
