Wyncote Cafe is missing out on a massive opportunity. Their marketing is nonexistent, so nobody in the three surrounding buildings is paying attention. Management needs to adjust their hours and open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. If they advertised a $5 morning special (coffee and a muffin) during those hours, they could easily capture the early-bird crowd that currently drives away to Dunkin' or Starbucks. They are also closed on Monday???? The beginning of consumers week and Sunday??? Church day! The food quality itself is hit-or-miss, which makes the overpriced menu even harder to justify. The rules are way too rigid—why can’t a customer substitute fries for extra shrimp? To make matters worse, they actually charge you for a cup of ice. Management needs to open their minds and give back to the neighborhood that keeps them afloat. Why not host a young adult night or a report card day? Support the community that supports you. i used to eat here often when i lived in the first building almost 2 years ago now since then the quality seems to be very inconsistent. i got a breakfast platter and the eggs were obviously cheap carton eggs, same with the bacon choice being cheap borderline dog treat turkey bacon i don’t know what went wrong but i definitely won’t be returning for a while getting bad food is so disappointing!! they’re good people the foods freshness and quality just isn’t there. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
