Stopped by for a meal this evening as one of the few restaurants in the area that was open on a Sunday night. So glad we chose here as the food was delicious and the atmosphere great. Both the lamb dish and the beef brisket were spot on.

The best cooked breakfast by a long shot. Cooked breakfast can ba cr**p, and if you don't like it, that's fine. But, let me stop for a moment and tell you how good this one is, ingredients are quality, from eggs to the sausage and bacon, all truly top shelf stuff, I think local too. The service was excellent, fast and kind, what else do you want from breakfast?

We went there to have a meal. I had really wanted to try *cawl*, but unfortunately, it wasn't on the menu, which was a bit of a shame. However, the pub really appealed to us—both inside and out. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We decided to eat there anyway; we had the Welsh lamb and a duck dish. It was delicious. The waiter checked if we were okay with a bit of a wait, but it wasn't a problem at all—and it was well worth it. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh and with fantastic flavor combinations. The meat was tender, the salad crisp, and the potatoes were cut in a shape we’d never seen before. Serving the croutons the way they did was a great touch, too. The chef really knows his craft. If we’re in the area again next year, we’ll definitely be back—that’s already a sure thing. Keep up the great work; you’re fantastic, and it’s a wonderful pub—one of the best.
