Easily one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in California, in my humble opinion! Every visit to Yafa Hummus is a treat and reminds us why we keep coming back. The staff is incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, and the food is consistently fresh, authentic, and bursting with incredible flavor. The spicy hummus is an absolute must-try and something we crave long after we've left. The chicken is juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time. The rice is wonderfully light and fluffy, the salad is crisp and fresh, and the pita is unbelievably soft! Their pistachio baklava deserves a special mention. It is perfectly crisp, flaky, buttery, and generously loaded with pistachios. Hands down the best baklava we've ever had. They truly knocked it out of the park! The falafels are another standout. They are perfectly crisp on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, and never heavy or tasting of baking soda like so many others do. A special shout-out to Mahmoud, who runs the place with so much heart. His warmth, hospitality, and genuine care for every customer make the experience even more memorable. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and remarkable consistency make Yafa Hummus a true gem. We can't recommend it highly enough. I was there at a bit of a weird time so the employees were taking breaks and energy level was low. They were all nice but communication was quite limited as you order at a kiosk and the employees just bring your food out. 2/5 items on my order were switched without any communication but the food was excellent regardless. One of the employees had his airpods in and was talking on the phone around the room, which was definitely not a highlight. Overall would definitely go back for the food but service and ambiance was sub-par at best. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection
