Lovely location. Had such a nice feel to it, very cosy and you can feel the history in there. Absolutely lovely owners. Allowed us to have our fish dinner while we had a drink. So friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to visiting again.

Lovely little pub in a beautiful location. Worth knowing they stop serving food at 21:00, don’t take card payment and strangely don’t have any lights in their beer garden. They have sweet little beer garden with a beautiful old tree, just a set of twinkly lights would give it an atmosphere. We sat there while two lots of people tried to eat their food by the light of the street lamp across the road. Don’t be put off though, it’s a lovely with friendly staff.

Had lunch here a couple times when visiting Rye. Very cool old pub. Be prepared for ‘cash only’ they don’t accept credit cards.
