Overall, this chicken rice ball shop is a decent option, but it's a bit of a mixed bag depending on what you order. The Highlight: Definitely recommend their char siew (BBQ pork). It was the standout item of the meal. They also serve pots of Chinese tea, which is a great beverage choice to pair with your food. Room for Improvement: Surprisingly, the roast duck, steamed chicken, and the rice balls themselves were all just average. They definitely have room for improvement in terms of flavor. Verdict: I wouldn't travel across town for this, but it's a solid backup plan. I'd come again if I happened to be in the area and needed a quick bite. Family-run Chicken rice shop in Jalan Meru Klang, right in front of the LRT. They serve steamed and roasted chicken, crispy pork, BBQ pork, fish balls soup, and chicken rice balls. Tasty rice and flavorful meats, though the seasoning is quite strong and made me feel thirsty after the meal Clean, air-conditioned, and the toilet is well maintained. Delicious chicken rice! The steamed chicken was juicy and tender, but my favourite was the roasted chicken - so flavorful! Roasted pork was crispy and tasty, not too oily but still enough fat for it to be yummy. The braised egg, chicken feet, and beansprouts beautifully complemented the meal. Staff were polite and friendly, and the boss is very welcoming. The place is also clean and looks well organized, making it comfortable to eat in. 10 out of 10, would travel here just for Yew Pin Chicken Rice.
