The location is perfect, large parking lot, near the beach, you can see the sea from the windows. The room is spacious, in need of repair, but the location redeems everything. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Great value

My self and kids arrived in pissouri the night before and first time visiting pissouri. It was all so first time visiting Yialos tavern. Last time we visited Cyprus was 10 years ago when kids were very young and don't remember any of it. As a Cypriot I wanted to educate them in some authentic cuisine. They had tried their papoous and yayas food on many a time but not sheftalia. After checking all the other restaurants which are owned by expats for expats and British tourist we came across Yialos.The restaurant is situated on the top floor with panoramic views of the sea. The owner greeted us showed us to a table of our choicing and took our order whilst the Indian waiter served us both were social able.We ordered a large village salad which came with bread and pitta, olves and 3 dips (taramasalada, tahini, and a mayonnaise dip). These were complimentary except for the salad.For main we had mix kebab with pork souvlaki and sheftalia served with chips.My kids loved it so much they told me it was better than the pork kebabs I make.They were very good with enough fat to keep the moist and cooked on charcoal to give them a nice crisp charcoal taste and texture. The same applied with the sheftalia.The salad could of done with some more fetta and vinger but we were happy.The food took me back to when I lived and worked in Cyprus and the many meals I enjoyed their and with sea views and a bottle os St pentalmium wine who can argue.The prices were standard 12 euro for the mix kebabs and 15 euro for wine. The whole boll came to 106 euro for 5 of us worked to 21euro approx for a two course meal.I all so got a free cyprus coffee and some free cyprus sweet which a fruit in syrup.If you won't authentic food this is the place to eat that is more affordable than other places.
