The food is amazing, but when I pay, I realise the price is wrong but because I only realize when I leave and the snow make us difficult to go back. I go back the next day but all the nice girl is not in, a guy help me check back the bill, and they charged one extra rice and one orange juice which is not served, I show him picture but he don’t believe and want to call police, I believe any other business owner will just suggest that yesterday bill can’t refund or talk in a nicer way or text the waitress yesterday but instead he is so rude that scold me to get out. But I’m just want to make sure why I get extra charges. This place is very Smokey and you will be very smelly after leaving this place. Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

"I reviewed the security footage after the shop closed yesterday, and it showed that both the extra drinks and rice were served. Initially, the customer complained that the prices for the Genghis Khan and Shabu-shabu were different. When I explained that the pricing differs between same-day orders and reservation discounts, they then changed their story, claiming the drink and rice charges were wrong. Feeling that this was borderline fraudulent, I asked them, 'May I call the police?'"

Fantastic on all accounts. Even the drinks! We ended up n one of the plywood rooms but no matter. Had a great time, food was amazing. Staff are sooo nice. Make reservations, it seems to always be busy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Yo-chan is a wonderful izakaya (Japanese style bar )with impressively fresh ingredients the (the scallop offered was the biggest and freshest among this Hokkaido trip with the least amount fees charged) and beautifully prepared sashimi. The hotpot is also excellent, with a nice variety of items including mushrooms, making it perfect for sharing on a cool evening. The staff kindly accommodated us even without a reservation, and the service was very fast and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. As a typical izakaya , each person needs to order at least one drink, but the prices are very reasonable comparing with the other restaurants nearby. Overall, Yo-chan is a great place to relax, enjoy fresh seafood, hotpot, tempura and have a satisfying meal with friends. The value is unbeatable in the area. Highly recommend a try.
