Excellent restaurant, it was our point of reference for years, but unfortunately now the place has closed permanently...

Excellent all you can eat restaurant, very friendly staff, clean. In my opinion a hair above the average of the others. Prices aligned

I had very high expectations considering the reviews but I was quite disappointed! Let's start with the reservation: I was not asked for my name and/or telephone number, I asked for information on the menu and I was given an answer that had nothing to do with my question. Already from here, I said to myself "strange, but oh well, let's hope it's good" I arrive there with a friend of mine and we immediately see the very beautiful and well-kept location, we sit down and they give us two menus, both extremely ruined (scratched, dirty and broken) and from there the magic is lost a bit. Imagine entering an aesthetically pleasing place and then being handed two menus that are exactly the opposite of what the location looks like. I consider menus a bit like the business card of a restaurant, so from here I was already somewhat perplexed. At Yoki you choose the things to eat directly from the paper menu and unlike other restaurants that don't have tablets, they don't leave you a pad with a pen to write what you want, but you have to tell the waitress/waiter the numbers (a bit uncomfortable, honestly) and here the first problems begin: 1. We are not asked for the menu we have chosen (there are various options and it is generally the first thing you ask before ordering) 2. The person taking the orders didn't really understand the numbers we were saying and we had to repeat the same numbers several times 3. The same person who took the orders came up with a rather unfortunate sentence as far as I'm concerned. I was telling her the numbers and she started with: "look, that's a lot of food for one person, it's really too much" basically, it's a somewhat unfortunate phrase and this led me to eliminate some dishes. The "serious" thing is that there weren't many dishes, I'll list them for you: 3 dragon clouds ‌7 ebi gyoza ‌14 large mixed sushi (which was to be shared with my friend) 21 small sashimi 39 kushi sake 54 tempura moriawase 57 takoyaki 72A sake maki ‌75G Philadelphia roll 85 sakes Obviously the first number is not the quantity, of this list I made the 39 or another number on the list I put was not available and I eliminated the 54, 57 and 85 due to the waitress' insistence. So doing a quick calculation I ate: The dragon clouds, 2 gyoza (because I split them), large mixed sushi that I split with my friend, small sashimi, maki, Philadelphia rolls and sake, most of which I SHARED with my friend. I basically didn't eat anything and the food was pretty poor. The gyoza were destroyed, they were very pale and tasteless. Of the large mixed sushi that I divided (there were 14 pieces if I'm not mistaken so 7 each) 6/7 pieces were inedible. Good dragon clouds, although I found a piece that was very thick and I almost broke my teeth to eat it. Oh and then even though I had canceled the 54 due to the pressure of the waitress it still arrived and since I hadn't eaten anything, I decided to eat it anyway, if I had never done so. That too was totally tasteless. The rest was good, the only really good one is the one in the photo (the first photo) whose name I don't remember. On top of this, we were asked 4 times by the same person "how is everything? is everything okay?" Of course I'm happy if they ask, but 4 times every 5 minutes is a bit exaggerated, not even saying that the restaurant was full, we were literally 4 tables of 2 people, so not even saying that he could have forgotten having asked us given the amount of people present in the restaurant. Regarding dessert, we both had tiramisu - it was included in the price of the menu - small, but good! Fair price, although considering the treatment and the quality of the food it is too much (46 euros in total including 2 cans of coke and water) In the photos there are some of the dishes I listed, there should also be some dishes that my friend ordered!
