We popped into Your Only Friend after a day at the National Book Festival. Run don’t walk for those outrageous onion rings. I’m sure those are something we will keep dreaming about. We had an RPG and a Chicky Pep No2. and both were outstanding. The staff is welcoming and so friendly. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back to work our way through the menu. I was working at the DC Convention center this past weekend and I stumbled across this wonderful establishment. Walking in I was immediately greeted by very friendly staff ready to serve. I got the seasonal BLT to go, it was delicious but I made the grave mistake of not eating it right away. The tomato was so fresh and juicy that when I finally went to eat it a few hours later the toast was soaked through. However even with all that, the flavors still shined through! Needing redemption I came back the next day and ate in. I sat at the bar greeted by a friendly bar tender. I ordered an espresso martini and went with the RPG sandwich. The sandwich was great, though a little sweet. I think it could only get better by adding a little heat to it. All in all it was the redemption from yesterday I was looking for. If I’m ever by the convention center again I will most definitely be stopping by for another sandwich. As a follow up my wife heard and wanted to come check it out. I got the chicken parm sandwich and Seattle fries. It was very rich but still left full and satisfied. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating to dietary restrictions, and offer suitable substitutions.

On a work trip, I went to check out Your Only Friend. The bar staff were extremely friendly and made me a unique cocktail which I loved. I ordered a few things and it was delicious. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
