Yesterday, I took my mum, mother in law and my husbands 89 year old grand mother to the theatre for MOTHERS DAY! We decided before the show to grab some thing to eat, located across the road was the Yum Cha Cafe, it was cold and raining, so I ran in and asked if they had a table for four, in which was told yes, please come in. As we were being escorted to the table the person behind the bar, whom I would presume is the owner noticed that Keith's grandma had a walking frame and as we approached the table this man tells the waiter to tell us that they no longer have a table and we must leave. We then asked if it was because grandma had a walker and he replied there is no room. I explained that the walker can be folded down and tucked in the corner, however both men continued to ask us to leave. This was extremely distressing for all involved and I am disgusted that our elderly can be treated in such a way!
