We always love coming to Yummy box for their wonderful Chicago pizza, buffalo chicken wings and garlic bread. Those are our stable items. We are the inner west local and have been here since day one the restaurant opened. The kids love the food and the atmosphere here. Husband often orders a big pizza home and have a good meal for two days. Or he enjoys a small one by himself for lunch or dinner. Husband’s brother ran a pizza shop in the US and often went to Chicago for its pizza. He was so happy having a Chicago pizza at Sydney when he visited here last year. There are many pizza restaurants around inner west area but Yummy Box definitely offers the best pizza Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Buffalo Wings, Deep-Dish Pizza

Such a nice place! We got the Classic Chicago Pizza, and Cajun fries while we waited. The staff were very friendly and took their time to explain the menu, it was such great service! The fries were delicious and a fantastic serving size, and then the pizza was so good! Crazy cheese pulls! We will definitely be back! Ever had a real Chicago deep dish pizza? This pizza trend is all the craze in the United States @yummyboxnewtown has brought it right to the heart of Newtown, Sydney. Chef Ning lived in the USA and learned to make these Chicago style from the masters. What sets a deep dish pizza apart? Think of it more like a pie and pizza had a delicious cheese filled baby. A layer of short buttery pie crust lines the bottom of a round cast iron pan, then layers of filling go in from classic spicy salami, onion, olives, and spicy sausage mince to loads of gooey mozzarella, topped with a pastry lid and covered in homemade tomato sauce and parmeggiano cheese. The whole masterpiece is baked in a bread oven for 30 minutes. The savoury pie is then sliced into wedges and served. Each slice is a complete meal. Deep dish pizzas are best enjoyed in the restaurant with friends.I loved their hot Chicago with peppers, jalapeño and spicy sausage. Really lovely and substantial. Chef also makes a wonderful thin crust NY style pizza with honey, walnutsand gorgonzola. They can even do a 20 inch size in their big ovens. Lovely service, passionate cooking, crafted with love.
