Pretty darn good. The sushi was fresh and well prepared. Miso was piping hot when it was served and tasted quite fresh. Miso can have a tendency to get very salty as it sits. Their take on the typical Japanese salad dressing was refreshing. A touch of orange set it apart. I was disappointed with the tempura. It came out soggy and greasy. My guess is the oil was too cool for the tempura. Shumai was delicious as well. The bento is a very reasonable deal for the amount of food you receive. I will certainly return if I find myself in the area again.

Surprisingly Good for the Suburbs. The Exton area has not been good to ethnic restaurants - an excellent Viet place and a great sushi joint both closed up in recent years. Here in Exton, where timid suburban diners line up to get into bland national chains, you might not expect to find authentic Sichuan cuisine. But Z. Wei is doing a nice job. You can get the regular Americanized "Chinese" food from the conventional menu, but they also have a Sichuan menu for those that appreciate authentic fare. Tripe and tongue, double cooked pork, fish soup, pork with cilantro, dan dan noodles, cumin beef. All nicely executed here. We have also tried the sushi here - which of course is not Chinese - but is reasonably authentic too. Clean atmosphere and often really wonderful service from the sweet and soft-spoken young lady waiting tables. Han Dynasty nearby gets all the acclaim, but Z. Wei is the superior kitchen with much better service.
