I've been looking for a good Indian food restaurant and this place is IT! I placed an order online. The ordering system was simple and easy to use. I ordered samosa (two large pieces come in one order), chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. The meal was a bit pricey - $42 including a tip; however, it was excellent quality and there was enough for at least 2-3 people to share (or leftovers if you're just one person). I do not mind paying more when the food and quality are great. The pickup experience was easy as well. The restaurant seemed clean and nice, with a good outdoor space for dining when the weather is nice. I will definitely be returning to Curry Place!

Curry Place is our new favorite local place. We eat there at least once every 2 wks! My favorite is the chicken Tika Masala and my husband loves the traditional chicken curry. The flavors are just delicious and you can adjust the spice level to your mood or tolerance. We love it!

Ordered through DoorDash, but it's called Zaika Express on their site, just an FYI. I got the Momos (chicken) and Kathmandu Fried Rice. Momos (chicken): Ground chicken with lots of cumin flavor with a yellow cumin based sauce (thick like aioli). I found the inside of the dumplings to be salty and dry. I guess I was expecting the juicy dumplings from Chinese and Japanese style. It was alright-- edible. I'll eat one if someone else orders it for appetizers, but probably won't order again myself. Kathmandu Fried Rice: I thought this was an interesting concept. Had thin egg noodles mixed in with the fried rice. Came with a red sauce (almost like their version of ketchup but more tangy and not as sweet) and pickled jalapeños. The acidity of the sauce was definitely necessary for the fried rice. The fried rice itself was pretty bland. I'm usually not one to call things bland but this really lacked the flavorful spices. I also didn't like the sogginess of the noodles and rice put together. Lesson learned. I will say the one good thing about this fried rice is how fluffy the egg is. There's a certain technique used in asian fried rice that creates the fluffiness not seen in americanized fried rice. I see so many positive reviews here that I'm wondering if I just picked mediocre items. I'm willing to give this place a try again. But will order different items. Another pro for this restaurant is that they give HUGE portions.
