We went for dinner and, after spending time looking through the menu and deciding what to order, were informed by the waiter that there was no sushi rice available. Considering that sushi makes up around 70% of the menu, this was extremely disappointing. Many of the non-sushi dishes were also sold out, leaving very few options to choose from. The lamb chops were average and lacked freshness, especially in what was otherwise a very rich meal. Service was also poor. Once we had finished eating, our plates sat on the table for quite some time without being cleared. Eventually, I had to get up and find a waiter myself to get any further service. Overall, the experience was well below expectations, particularly given the prices charged. Between the limited menu availability, average food quality, and inattentive service, I would not return and cannot recommend it Price per person: R 600–700 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Zioux Restaurant is an absolute must-visit in Johannesburg. The food is incredible, the service is top notch, and the ambiance is absolutely gorgeous. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and the decor really added to the overall experience. It's a perfect spot for lunch or an evening drink, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique dining experience. If you're in the area, be sure to check it out - you won't be disappointed!
