I had a really disappointing experience today. I ordered a small fry and a large water, and was told my total was around $8. I asked specifically about the water because that seemed really expensive, and asked, “Is the water $4?” The employee told me yes. I then asked if he had already filled it, and he said he had. There was already a car behind me and I had my two kids in the car, so I felt flustered and didn’t want to hold up the line. I ended up just paying and leaving. Once I got home, I kept thinking about it because $4 for a water seemed pretty unreasonable, especially when everything is already so expensive. I checked the website and saw that water is listed as 45 cents for any size. Because of that, I decided to go back through the drive-thru and ask about the charge. What made the situation even more frustrating was that it was the same employee who helped me again. I explained that I thought I had been overcharged and showed him that the website listed water at 45 cents. He first told me, “I didn’t charge you for the water.” I pointed out that my total was $8 and asked how I could have been charged that much if I hadn’t been charged for the water. He then looked at my ticket and changed his explanation, saying it was because I had ordered a large water. I explained again that their own website says 45 cents for any size, and at that point I felt like I was being blamed for the way I ordered something rather than having my concern actually addressed. Eventually, I was given $3 back, but the whole interaction left a really bad impression. I’m not upset just because of the money. It’s the fact that I questioned the $4 price before paying, was told that was the price, and then when I came back with their own posted pricing, I was initially told I hadn’t even been charged for the water and then given a completely different explanation. The food is good, but unfortunately the price and the way this situation was handled have made me feel like I won’t be returning. UPDATE: I did go back after management responded and had a much better experience! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Caitlyn, I would like to sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your recent visit. After reading your review, I personally reviewed the camera footage and watched the entire interaction. I also spoke with the team member who assisted you. The team member was in training and was not yet aware of the price difference between a large water and a large soda. Unfortunately, this resulted in you being charged for a large drink instead of the $.45 cup charge for the water. I sincerely apologize for this mistake. Since then, I have reviewed our policies and procedures regarding water and cup charges with all of our team members to make sure everyone understands the correct procedure moving forward. I am also very sorry that you had to leave and then return to receive your refund. You should not have had to go through that inconvenience. I would really appreciate the opportunity to make this right with you. I have a complimentary combo meal coupon with your screen name on it at my desk, and it is available whenever you would like to stop by. Once again, I sincerely apologize for your experience. My husband and I made a quick stop to have lunch together before we returned to work. We had quick service, and very friendly faces! Harley (or Karley, sorry if I got it wrong) was absolutely amazing. You could tell that she is a great leader and was managing supporting and leading her team! 10/10 we will be back again! Drinks were filled half way. More on the outside of the cups than inside. Bacon was not cooked all the way and fries and burgers were cold. Super gross not returning to this location. Sad that the post fall one closed will be making the drive to CDA better service and food Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
