Forget the hype about the award winning restaurant in Paternoster. Just try this place. Excellent cuisine, fresh , very well presented and absolutely delicious. The front of house manager and her staff are so friendly and accommodating to all your needs. Their build your own seafood platter is an excellent concept, similar to tapas. Eat what you want and share with your partner.Highly recommended.

De See Kat restaurant is one of the best situated restaurants in the small fishers village of Paternoster on the West Coast of South Africa.Enjoy the Atlantic Ocean whilst dining on something from the restaurant’s excellent menu.I love the tasteful interior with a touch of class! Just beautiful.The food was great and the service perfect.Don’t miss this gem when you visit!

Booked for 5 pax at 18:00. Ordered starters and and mains as starters arrived. When we wanted to order at 18:00, Eddie the owner advised us we must leave as the table was booked for 20:00 and those guests had arrived. Needless to say we could and did not have dessert and had to leave live we were in the wrong. Clearly Eddie is booking his tables so close together to maximize profits.

Please keep in mind there are many choices for restaurants in Paternoster, so I would strongly advise you to chose a place that values its clientele
