I am not a big beer drinker but when I see somewhere offering craft beer I will make an exception. Drafted sells Paper Kite beer - a true born in Malaysia craft beer - and one that has won awards. I was greeted by the Barman - Steven - who was so welcoming. He was also knowledgeable about the beers - which matters. It was well served and the beers in good condition. A very welcoming place for a beer or two and I will definitely be back! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: RM 80–100

I was in Penang for a week and went to drafted. three times (plus once when it was closed). It is fantastic! The craft beer is superb. I especially liked Paper Kite IPA, but you can taste the beers before ordering to see which you want if you are not sure. The bartender is very friendly and helpful. We had several nice chats and since I was traveling alone, this made my visits to the bar a lot more fun! The inside of the bar is small and not super comfy, but well air-conditioned if it is a hot day or you can sit outside. The beer is perfectly icy cold after a day of walking around in the Malaysian heat. I highly recommend drafted.! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
