Summer 2025 - On our first day in Athens, after visiting the Acropolis and the Museum, we were hot and hungry. We wandered through streets of shoppers and store front until we reached the Mitropoleos Square and found this restaurant. We needed a cool place to sit for a bit and put food in our bellies. Flagship delivered on both! The owner and waitstaff were incredibly accommodating as our party of 5 quickly became a party of 9. They made room for us all, made sure we had cold drinks, and had everything that we needed. We were eating in the early afternoon (14:30), so the restaurant was not too crowded, but it was busy, both inside and out. We all ordered food and had it delivered to the table within 15 minutes. It was delicious - frites, grilled cheese and pita plates, pasta, salad, fruit, and more. We weren't rushed out of the restaurant either. When did leave, we were ready for more walking and sight-seeing. The restaurant and water closet was very clean as well. The entire lunch experience was very enjoyable.
