The place itself is nice. I visited last night and ordered the truffle pasta. When my order arrived, I honestly didn’t like the taste, and the chicken wasn’t cooked properly either, so it just wasn’t for me. I went to the cashier, who was also the manager, and politely asked if I could change my order to something else since I didn’t enjoy it. He said it would be difficult, but eventually agreed to replace it with a pizza, with a five-riyal difference. I then asked if I could get the five riyals back, but he said that would be difficult and that he couldn’t do it. Instead, he said he would add extra cheese to the pizza to make up for the difference. I took the order home, only to be disappointed again. It was honestly the first time I’d ever seen a Margherita pizza with burnt mint on top. The burnt taste was very noticeable, and the edges of the crust were slightly burnt as well. It honestly felt like the pizza had been prepared in a rush, as if he wasn’t happy about having to replace my order in the first place. To be completely honest, this was the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in Al Rass, both in terms of the food and the way I was treated. The prices are also way too high for the taste and quality of the food they serve. The level of professionalism and customer service was extremely disappointing.
