I had a good experience at iODE in Bangkok. The restaurant has a modern and intimate setting, and the tasting menu shows plenty of creativity. There are some interesting ideas throughout the meal, and the presentation is elegant. While I appreciated the effort and technique behind the dishes, not every course was equally memorable in terms of flavor. It was an enjoyable meal overall, but I found myself remembering the experience as a whole more than any particular dish. The service was professional and attentive, and the team did a great job explaining each course while keeping the meal at a comfortable pace. Overall, iODE is worth trying if you’re interested in contemporary tasting menus. It offers a thoughtful dining experience, even if it didn’t completely stand out compared to some of the other restaurants I visited in Bangkok.
