IShawarma in Kitchener is an absolute gem and easily deserves 5 stars. If you want *loaded, affordable shawarma that actually fills you up*, this is the spot. *Food + Value* The *loaded chicken shawarma platter* is insane value for money. You get a massive portion of tender, juicy chicken shawarma, rice, fries, fresh salad, pickles, and so much garlic and hot sauce that you don’t feel like you’re being shorted. It’s the kind of platter where you think "no way this is the price" after you finish. Their *chicken shawarma sandwich* is just as good. Loaded with meat, veggies, and sauce, wrapped tight so nothing falls out. The chicken is seasoned perfectly, not dry at all, and the bread is soft but holds up. Prices are way below other shawarma spots in KW for the same portion size. *Custom Orders* I asked them to *make my chicken salad exactly how I wanted it* – extra veggies, light on sauce, extra pickles – and they did it without any attitude. That kind of flexibility is rare. They actually listen instead of just scooping from the standard tray. Everything still tasted fresh and balanced. *Service* Customer service here is fantastic. Staff are fast, friendly, and they remember regulars. Even during the lunch rush the line moves quick and they’re still polite. It feels like a family-run place where they care if you leave happy. *Vibe* Small, clean, casual spot. Perfect for takeout but you can sit in too. It’s no-frills, which is exactly what you want when the food is this good. *Bottom line*: If you want *great prices, huge portions, and food made your way*, I Shawarma Kitchener wins. The loaded platters alone are worth going back for weekly. Value for money, great service, and they’ll customize your order exactly how you like. Easily the best shawarma around, hands down. The chicken is always incredibly juicy and perfectly seasoned never dry. They do not skim on the portions either the wraps are massive and packed with meat. The garlic sauce is absolute perfection and everything tastes 100% fresh every single time. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. If you haven't been here yet, you're seriously missing out. 10/10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
