*Honest charcoal grilled meat. Value* Extremely value for money. We ordered like 8 plates of meat 3-4rounds of drinks 1 donburi. Still the total was less than ¥10k ! We did check the bill and Didn't think they had missed out anything as the young waiters insisted on putting everything through the iPad ordering system. They serves local Japanese bred meat here, non-wagyu but nonetheless tastes awesome . Charcoal grill is the key. The non-marinated pork is the pick of the bunch as takes to the grill the best. Local Chichibu sake is ultra fresh and a must drink. Not the fanciest deco but it does have that local izakaya vibe. Popular joint so you often have to wait for a table and they sometimes do turn ppl down. There are couple others similar grill meat places in this small town but those are more for tourists IMHO.
