We drove 35 minutes to visit this café on a weekend evening, planning to order drinks, desserts, and pastries, but every indoor table was occupied by people working on laptops for long periods. No one even welcomed us when we arrived, and we eventually had to leave. I understand that cafés can be great places to work, but during busy hours (especially on weekend) there should be reasonable policies for long stays so that customers who actually want to dine can also find seating. I recently visited Ratio Cafe in Muscat and was truly impressed by the artistic and cozy atmosphere. The decor — a mix of vibrant rugs, warm tones, and thoughtful artwork — creates a unique and inviting space that feels both personal and nostalgic. It reminded me of the charm of Iranian cafes, making it a perfect spot for quiet time, reflection, or focused work. “This is my second visit here, and after some earlier feedback, it seems the owner took it into consideration.
