I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. The sushi was decent, but the service was terrible. First, you have to buy a meal ticket from a vending machine. Apparently, one of the three ticket stubs needs to be handed to the staff, but nobody explained that. Instead, I was simply asked, “Where’s your receipt?” It was frustrating to be treated as if I had done something wrong when no instructions had been given. Then, a staff member brought me the ochazuke, but she didn’t give me tea, chopsticks, or a wet towel first. I had to ask, “Where are the chopsticks and wet towel?” Only then were they handed to me, and she did so with an annoyed attitude. A simple apology would have been appropriate. To make things even worse, after I had already started eating, the owner suddenly came over and said, “Oh, by the way” before explaining what was in the dish. I honestly couldn’t understand why that explanation wasn’t given when the food was served. The food was okay, but the customer service was by far the worst part of the experience. This was the best sushi we had during our entire trip to Japan. The quality of the fish, the rice, and every piece of nigiri was simply outstanding. Everything was prepared with incredible care and precision, and every bite was memorable. What made our visit even more special was the kindness of the sushi master. After asksing us about our favorite roll, he surprised us by serving each of us an extra piece. Such a small gesture, yet it perfectly reflected the warmth, generosity, hospitality, and genuine care we experienced here. We also loved the appetizer - a delicious rice served with tuna and green tea. It was simple, comforting, and absolutely wonderful - not something we experienced evevr before. We were very sad that we had to leave Japan the next day and couldn't come back again. Otherwise, we would happily have returned every single morning. Thank you for giving us not only an exceptional meal but also a beautiful memory of Japan. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic sushi and heartfelt hospitality. Price per person: ¥1–1,000
