I had a slightly different experience than other reviewers. The owners were delightful and super welcoming and helpful. The place feels super local and has a great atmosphere where the tables were buzzing. Unfortunately, the food was okay tastewise. Very homey. However, I also got bad food poisoning and the next day I was feeling pretty lousy. I could see that the white rice came out of the fridge and they reheated it rather than fresh from a rice cooker. I had the scallops with butter and yakitori skewers. Given that there was chicken, pork and seafood in my meal. Any of those could have been the cause of my food poisoning if they were simply reheated or recooked. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
