I stumbled upon this bakery back in February, and let me tell you I have been DREAMING about these cakes ever since. I chose an assortment of cakes from the case expecting to take them back to the hotel with me, but they didn't even make it to the car. Everything that I tried was expertly made: each dessert was fresh, light, fluffy, moist, vibrant, and absolutely beautiful. I tried to go back a few hours later before leaving town, but they were sold out of all of their cakes, so I brought a box of their assorted cookies back to my Ryokan as a gift for the staff, and they were all delighted, asking me where I purchased them from. I was in Japan for the entire month of February, and while I had MANY delicious treats along the way, these were hands down my favorite.
