Very nice restaurant on the 10th floor of the Hyundai Department store. Very peaceful environment. I especially love their set menu: it comes with a wide variety of well-balanced side dishes including different kinds of kimchi, munbean jelly noodle salad, tofu with fish roe, steamed eggs (super delicious!), two different kinds of mandus (kimchi one or plain pork one), as well as dessert! In many Korean restaurants it’s hard to find dessert but this place serves nice cakes as part of their set menu. I tried several of their soup dishes and they’re all very delicious. The broth is clear and neither salty nor oily, perfectly light and soothing. Despite the location (being in a department store), everything tastes fresh and homemade with high quality ingredients. The staff are very friendly and some can speak some English. Overall it’s a nice place for a high-quality balanced soothing meal. We will definitely be back! Although I do not always agree with the Michelin Guide, I admit this place deserves recognition. Their signature beef soups were outstanding, with generous portions of meat. The broth itself was elevated to another level with just a touch of salt. I highly recommend ordering the combo set — for a nominal additional cost, appetizers and dessert are included. I also ordered several à la carte items, and they were quite good as well. Conveniently located on the 10th floor of the Hyundai Department Store at Samsung Station.
