I frequently visit bar rotunda on weekends for the sole purpose of seeing the jazz band. The band is amazing, and having live jazz music inside that upscale classy bar keeps me coming back. The atmosphere is high class and candle lit, and I've yet to find another place like it. I don't know the name of the band, but I know the bassist is named Trevor Lamb, and watching him pluck the stand up bass on a Friday or Saturday night while sipping on a cocktail is a quintessential weekend tradition for me. I cannot emphasize enough this band's talent and contribution to the atmosphere. Unfortunately this review may not be able to stay so positive. I've caught wind that management wants to cut the jazz band down to just two days a month and install a DJ instead. I know for a fact that if there isn't live acoustic jazz to fit the atmosphere of bar Rotunda, I will not be seen there again on a date night and I will have to drop the rating of this review. The jazz trio was amazing. They played so many fun songs. They created such a good vibe in the bar rotunda. I don’t recommend the espresso martini, it’s definitely some batch cold brew. But the pink squirrel was really good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
