We were on vacation in Scotland and on our way from Edinburgh to Glasgow, all wet after a castle visit in the pouring rain, tired and “hangry” as we stepped into this cafe to grab a bite. Immediately we were welcomed by the sweetest hostess ever, as if we had just arrived home! (The lovely lady with the white hair: if you’re reading this, know that you made our day!! ) We ordered the Eggs Florentine and the New York wrap, which were served in less than 10mins. They tasted heavenly!! We were reborn! The cafe is incredibly beautiful and the atmosphere is so friendly, great for friends, couples, families and the retired. I can only recommend you to experience it for yourselves. I wish I could go there every day.. Weekend evening meals are a recent addition to this establishment and I have to say - fantastic food, excellent service and very competitively priced. 4 of us and shared 7 tapas dishes between us. Every dish was truly superb. Really looking forward to returning. A fabulous addition to the towns high street. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
