Kenna (bar manager) is fantastic, such an asset to the Brunswick vaults bar. She always makes myself and my partner feel so welcomed, fast service, good chats and a great guiness. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

It always amazes that me that I can still find pubs that have escaped me in the city over the past 50 years and this is one those. It's just on the edge of town in Tithebarn St. I was quite surprised how light and airy the pub was. It looks like it had a very good refurbishment recently. All the interior has been nicely painted and decorated with new all new fittings. There's some very comfy chairs by the fireplace to relax in. The bar contains a great range of beers, ales and shorts, of which we tried a few while we were there. The barman was helpful and quick to serve. Overall a nice place to have a quiet pint if you're ever passing by. Price per person: £10–20 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
