I cannot tell you how much I love CJ's Cafe! The food is phenomenal! Great prices on everything. I especially love the staff, so sweet and attentive. I have been there many times and I've never been disappointed in the very least. I recommend that, if you haven't already, you go give them a try! Top quality on everything! Whereas the food is good, the service is beyond disrespectful to patrons of Ethnicity. Upon our visit, the waitress felt that her private conversation was more important than waiting on her customers. As paying consumers, whether it be appetizers or a complete meal, the food should be delivered once being put in the window for delivery. The attitude of the waitress was appalling! One of our orders were, in my opinion, deliberately filled wrong and when alerting her, she acted like it was my error when she was ignoring our table while visiting with another table. A small to-go container was requested, but, this young lady felt cleaning up a dirty table was more appropriate first. Without cleaning her hands, she delivers the container! Not proper germ control and with the present situation in our world, cleanliness should ALWAYS be top priority! I found this lack of customer service absolutely unacceptable! It seems to me, in my opinion, as frequently visiting this restaurant, the old ways of BIGOTRY is still, unfortunately alive and well in Red River County, Tx. And the saddest part, this individual feels that her behavior is acceptable, all because she's connected to the owner. Well, if this is how, patrons will be mistreated, perhaps they're behavior should be in question. This particular young lady has ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS in customer service nor training any new staff! This world doesn't need any more inept bigots!
