Since moving to New Jersey, Ciao Poke has become our go-to spot for fresh, flavorful poke bowls -- and for good reason. It's one of the few places that captures that same quality and balance we used to love at our favorite poke spots in the city. One of the hardest to find in New Jersey poke stores is kani salad as a topping. Here, the kani salad isn't counted as an extra protein, but rather as a topping -- a small detail that makes a big difference and shows how thoughtfully the menu is designed. We also love that they offer unique protein options like white tuna and yellowtail, which are rare finds at many poke places. They forgot my spicy mayo on my bowl so it wasn't that enjoyable to eat, just tasted okay. They give good portions but I was hoping to eat my salmon avocado wrap that I also ordered with some spicy mayo. Price per person: $20–30
