I was visiting Baton Rouge from out of town and wanted some Cold Stone ice cream. Their website posts that the store closes at 9:00pm. I arrived at about 8:50pm and the door was locked, signed flipped to "Closed", and an employee inside ignored us while cleaning the store as if in a rush to leave. 9:00pm is 9:00pm. If the store closes at 8:50pm, then post that as the closing time and save me the wasted trip. All good. I went down the street to Marble Slab and got what I wanted. I'd give zero stars if I could.

Worse experience I’ve had in a long time. The owner (Asian female who identified herself as the owner) had a horrible attitude and her customer service skills were horrible. My son paid for an extra topping of caramel for me. She gave him a 1/2 teaspoon full and when I questioned her about the amount she advised another squirt would be an additional charge. She tried to argue with me and I advised I would not argue with her. I sat down to eat my ice cream and she continued to make comments to me from behind the counter. I told her I would not argue with her and asked for the 800 number to make a complaint. She refused to give it to me advising she’s the owner and what is there to complain about. I paid for my order as well as the 1/2 teaspoon of caramel and wanted to enjoy it on Mother’s Day without drama. Apparently she didn’t like being questioned. I will never return and advise anyone else who would like to enjoy ice cream and toppings to not use this location. I spend my money where I am welcomed.

Cold Stone Creamery is an amazing place to get a great and delicious refreshment. There is a huge selection to choose from to get the perfect dessert. From Ice Cream with mix-ins to custom Milkshakes, they have everything. The staff is really nice and the store is always clean and well-maintained. 10/5
