We fell in love with this place when we lived in conroe (near the 1485 location). We met today for Mother’s Day, got in fairly early before the crowds came and were slightly disappointed by the service. The kitchen was rocking and rolling, the food was great per usual, but the front of house staff was struggling. Our server may have had too many tables on her hands while three other employees stayed behind the bar watching. Our server was very sweet but just seemed overwhelmed and not aware of her surroundings. I had my purse hung on the back of my chair and every time she walked to a table on the other side, she bumped it nearly knocking it over. I moved it to my hubby chair to solve that. Food came out, she asked if we needed anything, we replied with one condiment- she said okay and went onto her next table. My hubby needed that to start enjoying his food.. she never came back leading us to ask another employee so his food didn’t get cold while waiting. This experience was similar to what we had when this place was Kings Blu Jam. I’ll be back hoping for service more like the conroe location and will update my review when that time comes. Additionally, $4 for a small regular cup of coffee was a bit a shocker. Thankfully the food was still well priced and greatly portioned!
