Qué bar tan agradable. Me gusta que los asistentes son adultos y con edades y cuerpos diversos. Pienso que es un lugar ideal para conocer a alguien mayor. No estoy seguro el tipo de bar que es, pero parece un bar de osos.

As a queer woman in Seattle, finding spaces where you feel genuinely welcomed isn't always easy. Diesel has completely won me over. From day one, the staff and patrons have been nothing but kind and inviting in fact, I actually met one of my best friends here on a casual night out! Huge shoutout to Kevin, who is hands down one of the kindest bartenders in the city. The vibes here are consistently great. A quick heads-up on how they run things: they do host theme nights, and security or the door staff will usually give you a heads-up about what’s going on inside before you enter. Don't take it personally it’s not a "we don't want you here" speech, but rather a courteous "just letting you know what you’re walking into tonight" warning so everyone stays on the same page. The drinks are affordable and well-made. If you drop by on a Saturday, expect it to be packed. Seating is pretty limited, so you’ll likely end up standing, but that’s honestly part of the fun since it makes it so much easier to mingle and chat with people. Most importantly, remember that Diesel is a GAY bar first. As an ally or visitor, you are a guest in their safe space, so act accordingly and be respectful. If someone approaches you to remind you of the space's core community, don't take offense it’s a sanctuary for the local community, and protecting that energy is what makes the place so special.
