This is my childhood favorite! The guy that owned it back 20 years ago is still there cooking up a storm. They have the best broken rice in Melbourne! Authentic and delicious!

Nothing beats hot noodle soup on a cold and rainy Melbourne afternoon. My friend and I hit up this relatively new, local Vietnamese joint in hopes to warm our bellies and feed my appetite. Happy to say it was a fantastic meal and the owners were very welcoming and hospitable. I essentially rolled out of the place with a full belly and a massive smile on my face. Check them out if you’re in the area!!

Someone call the ambulance because I'm in a FOOD COMA! I've always enjoyed an authentic Vietnamese meal and Hoa Vien 1 certainly meets the criteria! Tried the pho - amazing, bun no hue - even better, spring rolls - coma is hitting hard. Not to mention the friendly staff, and efficient service. Hangry, no more.
